Heavily inspired by Jim and with a bit of envy for his gorgeous moss green Gannon I chose my whiskey Gannon today

Noticeably smaller brim and crown compared to the Akubra Campdraft IMO. Also worth noting is the Open Road sits high on the head. Not great for windy days.

Otherwise I am really digging the mix between Urban and Western. I've got one in walnut and Black as well.

Quality wise the Campdraft wins hands down. Way more bang for your buck and it is more durable. Typical from what little I have seen from modern Stetson's. However Stetson sure has a pulse on styles. Can't deny that.

Photo of Open Road with Campdraft. Hard to sell brim size by photo alone. Crown notably higher on CD :

Sorry I've got lighting issues where I shoot. I am doing the best I can. Nobody is around to shoot photos for me and selfies don't work for me.

The second photo should be sufficient enough. If not I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

If there's no shade available, maybe if you could turn the camera lens a bit one way or the other to get the window out of your background. As I said, it's SUCH a nice lid, Sonero!!

Hey everyone!
You all are looking great, as usual!
A late thanks to hato for the compliment on yesterday's hat and shirt combo, and to all likes and kind words.
That moss green is a good color for you, Fruno. If I were to go for a custom not made by me, I think I'd go Gannon. Although the recent men's line out of Belgium are looking pretty nice too...:)
Speaking of European fashion, it's Foreign Friday! Tough to choose between German, Austrian, Czech or Italian, but Italy won in the end.
Borsalino Colombo Velour, with an Italian made ACNE Jeans (now ACNE studios) leather jacket.

I never knew Art did western! Its such a good looking hat especially the brim. Not to mention the band! What came first... the shirt or the band? :) Now thats co-ordination! Did you tweak that swoop or did Art flange and do it like that?
Thanks Bob, and Chamuco. This hat was actually a diamond crown shaped by Art. I later decided to make it a Western, that just seemed to be the bash it wanted, then I tweaked the brim swoop. Found the hat band stored in a drawer and added it later.
Today is probably the last time for Aloha shirts, so I saw the shirt in the closet and decided on the combo.

Everyone is looking sharp as a tack today!

Sonero , you're going to force me to order a Pizza tonight that won't be half as good as your's . Yeah the OR has a 5" Open Crown , 4" Creased , with 2.75" Brim , Camp Draft has 5.5" or more Open Crown , and 2.88" Brim (2 7/8") . Tiny difference seems big in action . But it looks great , cutter dents in the side dimple creases , and maybe a little ridge up in the middle of the center dent will bring it down (If its bumping the top of your head) and not change the look noticeably at all . Being a Royal you could probably just pull it down to where you like it , and the right amount of give would make it perfect wherever you want it to sit . But it looks Great on you !
