D., They are Filson Mackinaw Bib Trousers made of 24 oz Mackinaw wool. An extremely nice trouser to have in the arsenal when the chill wind blows.

Thank you for the kind words, I hope so too. That hat has been with me all of my adult life, it was a present from my father for my 18th birthday. I knew kids who got cars from their parents when they turned 18, but I couldn't have been happier than with this hat. And I bet none of them still drive their first car, while I still wear my fedora.

Wow, what a legacy. No wonder you are so proud looking wearing it.

Some days are just jammed packed with stuff to do. Sheesh! Home and off doing errands and then a lunch meeting.

Back to work for the afternoon and evening. Gannon (granite felt and charcoal ribbon) on my head.

Hats/cap wait for the return trip later tonight.

(I did make a pile for the pic. Normally I have the hats flat on the backseat. )
