One of my favourites…hopefully it will stay with me a little bit longer…It is a Stetson Cody made out of canvas, slowly fading away. A good companion that also traveled along with me to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. I tried to google "Stetson Cody" but was not successful in the last years. Couldn't find one again.

My relationship with straw hats is a little bit complicated, but I have to love them. The Italian late spring is more hot than what everyone expected!

So beautiful Fabio. Classic lines.
Thanks Mike. Congrats again on the successful run at the theatre and the hat show you brought along with it.
Thanks Bob. I put away the last of the Blacks this morning. I will miss them a little. Good memories of this show though.

More record breaking heat today brings on more Hopoka straw

Does my heart good to see your straws Michael. Seems like just a few weeks ago you guys were up to your 'nads in snow and ice. Now record heat, go figure!

Way to make an entrance with a hat with over the top character sir! Welcome to the Fray!

The prospect of yard chores have me changing to a milan hat. This vintage Adam blue-gray milan is up to the rigors of some sweat. The sweats on the other hats are treated and drying. Hot!

After chores another shower and change of clothes/hat will be due. Hot!
Reference my comment to Michael above. Love that old Adam. I need to search for a wider brim Milan, love this style.

Well, when it's 78 at daybreak, you know it's going to be a scorcher. Now at 1pm, 91. Ventured forth to pick up some needs and visit Mom and Dad's gravesite. Dad was a corpsman in France during WWII. For the rest of this Memorial Day, I think a little R&R is on the menu (along with fajitas and a tasty hefewiesen).

Disney Milan pressed into duty for the first time this year.
