You're right, it's in my office. And it's a Saks Fifth Ave., actually. I went ahead and edited the title. I believe it was made in the Dobbs (hatco) factory, along with many other side brands. The felt on it is absolutely wonderful. We let out of the office early yesterday for our Memorial Day holiday weekend. I stayed in the office a few hours longer to avoid the traffic home, so I got to wear my hat inside for the rest of the day.

Mexico, part 1

Upon arriving at our hotel in Puerto Morelos (Cancun) we were met with champagne amid the breathtaking scenery and amazed by the hotel design itself.

The view from our room was indescribable, and almost altogether unphotographable.

My cuenca subfino was a good companion, but I discovered that hats are still rather difficult to travel with by air. It was kinda nice to have dress codes for dinner.

Cohibas in the early evening were also fun!

Especially when the entertainment started up

Our only excursion away from the hotel took us to Isla Mujeres, and my mind was blown by the color of this water.

My hat had to be removed before this (yep, that's me)!

Gourmet Mexican food was a treat,

And so were these casual dockside fish tacos-- best I've ever had!

Most headgear around here was hipster straws and these sun hats, available at every vendor's cart:

One of my favorite sights was this cemetery, away from the more touristy spots:

It was difficult to come home, to which this flamingo will attest:
