The wind was blowing so hard and constantly here today, that when it stopped for a few seconds around noon, a crowd of people fell down. That's windy.

So to minimize wind drag, I kept with the stingy-brimmed Cavanagh edged from Gary White.

You won't fly away with that, Charlie. Really nice hat, and you wear those stingies just as well as your little more substantial brims. Always a pleasure to see your pics :)

Haven't taken this off for a few days. Trying to adopt Spencer's smile in the face of winter weather. Not working.
Nice to see it again:)

Not quite up to Joao's width - 3" is as wide as I currently go. Huckle 'Hornet Super Lux':
1 inch more and you are there :)

The wind almost took it off a couple of times. I am working around in a constant hat tipping gesture. Thanks!
Same here...

Mustard yellow Beaver Brand homburg.
That's something I wouldn't dare...

Unless you count baseball caps, I only have two hats, and one of those is wool. Wore my Biltmore, while I was out braving the cold and winds today. The wind tried to take it a couple times, but it mostly stayed put. Some of what I picked up was supplies to replace the ribbon on it. I don't much like having my picture taken, so you just get a picture of the hat.

Steve - another beautiful velour.

Ottowa-Adam - I looked at those mustard homburgs, but didn't have the nerve.

Greyryder - Obviously the rest of us top the chart in handsomeness stakes ;) Nice Biltmore.

hatsRme---you've got that late January look :). I really like the color of the brim ribbon paired with the Dove. Hmmmm...I wonder if Art still has it?

Wearing the VS charcoal TAR this morning.

Charlie - Sartorially striking in that VS Dove :)

Michael - Looking cool in another great VS.

Manfred - I confess to being unsure about the ribbon 'off-head', but 'on-head' it works well.

Another Huckle for me today:

Richard: Great Hückel - and your sense for color combination often amazes me. Green trousers with a red shirt was not something I would have tried. Stupid me, as it turned out! ;)

Manfred: That ribbon works perfect in real-life-situations. You look great!
