Bob R. Love that Stetson.
I've not worn my hats much since i began wilting under the felt in the summer and finally acknowledged that i was indeed hot as heck.
I'll snag this Stetson Milan for next years heat.

Snappy Latte, Bob!

Alan, you always properly accessorize... Should I send you my recent find; the POCKET PROTECTOR?!

Alan, that is a gorgeous Borsalino. Does the blue liner label give any indication of it's age? I have one (not in nearly in as nice condition ) with the same label and another with the label in white. Just curious.

Thx guys on all the nice ribbon comments!

Alan, stunning as usual!

Mark, I had to look twice like Greg said. But I like it!

Thank you Esther and 40Cal. There were blue and white versions of this liner imprint, brown and green and perhaps others as well. Most were for export to a U.S. retailer. It was used over a long time span - into the 1970s and perhaps 1980s, though the raw silk in this liner is an earlier iteration. The manufacturing label is more useful for understanding the vintage - somewhere around 1950 for this hat.

Alan: Super Borso! I love that ribbon
Bob: I actually wore my Latte yesterday, nice little stingy
Richard: watch out, Joao might take that one from you!
Charlie: Nice lid, VS I assume?

This unlined 50's Playboy just got dropped off. Grey with a sage-ish colored band. It's elegantly disheveled in a Johnny Depp sort of way.

That Playboy is fantastic !!!!

Ok.... I've done the unthinkable... I eliminated the "Raiders turn" on the Penman. :eeek::eeek:
and I actually love it .... Been wearing it all day ... First I wore it open crown for a while ... Then gave it a classic center crease bash.... Loving it
