The felt is sooooo nice on that Biltmore!
I almost regretted getting because of the 3.5" brim but the condition and felt compensate over that.

Both great, Joao, but the mink gets the wink!

That mink looks great, Joao.

I think it's making 11 years I got it. It looks new and unworn. Still is as it does not get out of the box frequently.

For this purpose I wear one of the workhorse for the wet situation

A blue Barbisio in mixed felt

Unlined it has the ribbon of the same material

It has a very typical Italian shape and finishes (see the brims)

Esther, lovely, as usual. I'm a bit envious of folks who can don any hat and look great wearing it. You would be one of those.

I bought the missus a large floppy straw for the Summer (very fair skinned) and I think she looks great in it, but she won't wear it. She claims to not like wearing hats—I don't get it.

I'm always very happy combing through this thread (this forum, for that matter). Too many to call out, but the last few days, everyone has looked spectacular! And the hats! Oh my.

Unfortunately a lot of women feel that way.
They either don't like wearing them or don't think it suits them. Either way it comes down to the whole i don't want to draw too much attention to myself.

Good to protect her skin from the sun though, i'm also very pale and my beach hat is so huge that they all laugh at me.
Where does the hat go with the girl comes to mind. ( which is impressive at 5ft11)

It all comes down to finding the right shape and a material that they like and feels comfortable to them.
But it's not that easy, so much is possible. And yet, the one like i had on yesterday seems to work on pretty much every woman.
