I finally found out what a halfbelt with Aero measurements would actually be like.

This is a new-to-me Johnson Leathers. Tagged size: 36.
Seller's claim on chest size: 38.
Actual PTP measurement: 22.5.

Still, I'm considering keeping it to run flatbeds starting next month. The medium weight naked cowhide offers great protection but drapes like fabric; the roomy chest gives me almost a full range of arm movement with lots of room for layering; and it only cost me $100 so if I beat it to hell no big loss.

I think it will do until I save enough for a LW trucker. It definitely has an old-school vibe like from a 1940s film.

Beware of Friday the 13th, friends. I might have to do a Jason marathon tonight.

Took my wife appliance shopping; any day is a good day for a leather jacket! Today sporting a 2001 Excelled G-1 (obtained this one from a Navy helicopter rescue swimmer). I replaced the old collar with real vintage mouton (very plush & warm) and now it’s my new favorite G-1.
