Thanks MM The other day my daughter asked me how many Jackets I own. I answered “I forget”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Yeah, I did get a little carried away. I keep looking for some to pass on. Was considering moving this one as it sits well above my belt in front when zipped but, this Shinki leather is really nice, and can always wear it unzipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think it fits you great in the photo you just posted , if it fit me that well I wouldn’t have sold it to you, I actually tried to get SB to remake this for me they unfortunately don’t offer Shinki anymore Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Thuggee thanks. This jacket was one of my first purchases during early onset TFL Effect, and one of my favorites! This black Shinki is just lovely. Great weight, hand, grain...lovely. Just a little short in front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah it does look a little on the short side zipped up if your like me it will probably keep bugging you, I have to agree that leather is great wish they still offered it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been wearing this the last couple of days ELMC Black Californian cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@jonesy86 can you not pair it with some trousers that sit higher,? The jacket length looks pretty good from here and I think maybe its the trousers are the issue
Wet miserable cold day in my part of the world today, Simmons Bilt in their Brown Ranger horse cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is such a beautiful jacket T. Really a treasured piece of history too. Who was Ralphs-Pugh of San Francisco? I was talking with Allan at JL Tuesday about some really obscure San Francisco leather company that he said no one had ever heard of. No one accept for you of course. Very cool. Fosho @jonesy86 And that jacket is another that belongs on your keepers list. A really very nice piece
Looks like you have something special coming. Stunning. You did well. I will do a special on the Ralphs-Pugh jacket, it is interesting. I don't really have any information on the company other than they go back to he 30s in San Francisco. This jacket is late 40s.
