Nice jacket! Did you find the ATF sizing to be accurate, or to run large?

Glad you asked! I had intended to mention this, but forgot. I’ve bought many different models of ATF jackets. 2nd Model Tanker, m-43, m-41, B-10, N-1 and 1st Model Deck Jacket. In my experience, only the M-41 runs true to size. All the rest run a size large. I wear a size 48 original G-1 and a size XL original A-2 deck jacket. I also wear a size XL original MA-1 and L-2B. This ATF deck jacket is size large and fits quite comfortably.

Yesterday actually, a Bronson B-10, thought I'd have a look at the Chinese end of the market. For the money it ain't bad, possibly a bit short but after wearing it most of yesterday I'm kinda used to it.

Nice, I have a few of their shirts and henleys. How'd you size on the jacket early bird?

I originally ordered a 44 as I thought that was correct, then a very helpful chap called Lee contacted me to ask for my measurements, he seemed to think a 42 would be better, I have a 42" chest, so that's what I went for. I think he was right, the 44 would have been too big.

Since im expecting a new jacket , i m wearing this jacket constantly for the last 2 months before it gets into rotation as i would be likely wearing the new one much more. Btw i cheated somewhat, that is water spray bottle on the floor :D, and im kneading the sleeve while spraying it damp over and over.

If you ever sell this, I would like to buy it! That’s my favorite jacket ever to be made. I mean, that’s why I chose this stupid name...

Spearhead Militaria wool A-1. A pretty darn good reproduction of a jacket that never existed.
