Aero M422A this is a standard sized 48 purchased from online from a men’s wear store “The Rake” . They sell a few Aero styles at what I consider a nice discounted price. This was $780 shipping/customs included. I have paid close to that for used Aero’s this is brand new.
If I had my druthers I would have chosen the brown mouton collar instead of rust. And maybe another inch in the chest and an inch or so in length.
Was 1 day shy of 4 weeks from order date to delivery

Today, I’m wearing a 1974 Kings Point Mfg. A-2 deck jacket. I graduated from high school in 1974 and thought mightily about enlisting in the USN. But the conflict in Vietnam wasn’t totally resolved, and my folks were not terribly enthusiastic about the prospect. Ultimately, they convinced me to continue my formal education, so I never took the plunge. I’ve always wondered, though. Is it remotely possible that this very A-2 could have been mine...decades before I found it sitting in a lonely eBay auction?

@Boyo - This is how you wear this style of jacket! Absolutely perfect!

One of my favorite sweaters & my BG Campdraft which my wife calls my "cowboy" hat.

That sweater is everything!

My favourite jacket at the moment. But it’s too cold to be worn the next days and I can’t fit the little un under it.

Still braids, eh? Good to see you, man.
