It is not as yellow as pictured, started as orange over time it yellowed a bit as it gets more fading on the sleeves, sheepskin 5yrs ago bought/ ordered online from local company, I specified/ modified the design alittle from that usual vent touring jacket

into collarless with removable tab over the zipper, and no hand warmer.

Found the old photo when the jacket was new, now I see whack orange but at the time I was pretty happy

29 degrees and blustery at 5:30am when I started work today and the BR Navy hook-front deck jacket kept me toasty warm. This jacket might just replace my G-1 as my daily work jacket!

My favourite jacket at the moment. But it’s too cold to be worn the next days and I can’t fit the little un under it.

Yup, it's a telnyashka. Ordered it a size up from normal and it makes a good undershirt. It smells much nicer than Aero's goat hide, that's for sure. I am wearing the goat as often as I can to disperse the pong.

Beautiful one. Never seen it before. Can you tell me the maker of the jacket?

Aero M422A this is a standard sized 48 purchased from online from a men’s wear store “The Rake” . They sell a few Aero styles at what I consider a nice discounted price. This was $780 shipping/customs included. I have paid close to that for used Aero’s this is brand new.
If I had my druthers I would have chosen the brown mouton collar instead of rust. And maybe another inch in the chest and an inch or so in length.
Was 1 day shy of 4 weeks from order date to delivery

Today, I’m wearing a 1974 Kings Point Mfg. A-2 deck jacket. I graduated from high school in 1974 and thought mightily about enlisting in the USN. But the conflict in Vietnam wasn’t totally resolved, and my folks were not terribly enthusiastic about the prospect. Ultimately, they convinced me to continue my formal education, so I never took the plunge. I’ve always wondered, though. Is it remotely possible that this very A-2 could have been mine...decades before I found it sitting in a lonely eBay auction?
