A 1947 Sportclad. I found these pics while searching my files. The nicest leather I have ever encountered on a vintage jacket for sure, as nice as any new leather I have owned. Very much like Shinki.

This was purchased from the nephew of the original owner who bought it and never wore it. Size 46 tag in pocket.

Just amazing, museum price. Do you think the thread is cotton or poly-cotton/nylon blend? The jacket must have been stored carefully too.

I’m not sure what leather Langlitz used in 1985 but i’d guess Steer. As far as thickness idk but can say it weighs 7lbs.

Terry the Sportclad is outstanding and pristine. That back panel is amazing and when blown up unbelievable.
