New Iron heart deck jacket. I just find my Pike Bros N-1 so damn wearable I wanted another. Only had it for an hour.
Initial impression as compared to PB and a briefly owned RMC (a little snug)
Alpaca is super soft. Zero itch factor. Better than pike, about the same as rmc. Unfortunately unlike the pb and rmc there is no alpaca in the sleeves. Quilted instead. Wondering bow this will affect warmth and durability.
Cut. Slimmer than pike, particularly in the arms. Thats a plus. Proportions better than RMC which just seemed made for...I don’t know, a different body which doesnt happen to me often. I’m sorta an off the rack build.
Adjustments. Big chunky two way zipper. Seems in keeping with their motorcycle apparel theme. No opinion on this either way. Waist adjustments: PB and RMC have a draw string in keeping with the original design. IH has a tab and button like a type III. Edge to PB and RMC. It is a better fit for me and better for keeping the wind out at the tighter of the two buttons. This leaves a bit of material bunching. We’ll see how this plays out in time. Has same tabs on cuffs. This is just silly. No one could possibly set to tighter button and wear it. Strictly for show.
Supposed to be 2f tomorrow. May need to wear it in the recliner.

I found it on a flea market for 120€. Is it horsehide? The Talon zippers and the leather are in a great condition.

It pretty much looks like one, but it's difficult to be certain without further details. The cuffs should be lined with mouton fur. And it's hard to tell if it's steer or horse without feeling the leather. Anyway, at that price, it's a great deal, and it fits you very well.

@JMax I channeled my internal Keanu seeing that chopper. What’s the leather? Looks similar in color and texture to Vanson IKE in horsehide I saw on eBay.

Vanson's Octagon leather. About two years ago the octagon became less orange. It is essentially X-150 cowhide but in this color. Very stiff when new but awesome when it loosens, which is not immediate but it does not take too long.

Vanson has loads of color options-- Oxblood, as well as the different CW, Bainbridge and deer-tanned colors come to mind. I do not think the Bainbridge or the deer-tanned leathers require any break-in. I like the break-in period of CW and X-150.
