I was shooting pics of jackets in my bathroom (cuz that’s normal) on the 10th day of 800 degree heat in Chicago. Even the cicadas have turned into crispy bacon. I’m not wearing it and won’t be for some time but this California Sportswear Halfbelt feels like destiny. It’s not a perfect fit. It’s laughably short in back but my god…I love this jacket. Best I can do to show the color and absolute insane in the grain hide:

yessss. love this. The colors and shades of brown are nuts. I think this is where my CXL sheene is headed. Just need to lose about 5 lbs so it fits better LOL and can get it to keep evolving.

Brown CXL is incredible and it’s certainly obtainable. Probably the best brown I ever had came in the form of HD’s former bootlegger.

This just arrived from @lepilo, and it was a smooth transaction. Kehoe Steer-hide, tag size 46. Not original main zip and the C&C replacement didn’t come close to hitting the same needle holes, and isn’t very hardy. But the fit is great and it is a nice light weight jacket, under 3 lbs., good for warmer weather.
