Picked up this beauty from the Aero stock page. 42" Plainsman in Tumbled Brown FQHH CXL. The slightly longer drop is a nice quality of life perk in the cold. The hide doesn't look 'too' tumbled as I had initially feared. Still super stiff and a bit of a shock to the system after the soft and light Pinnacle!

Good one. Always liked the Plainsman a lot (one of TFLs veterans, @Leither, had a stunning one).

Coat day today. Belstaff Milford with a Superduperhats Fedora, Samurai baker pants & Lofgren Engineers

The silloute and texture is well done

Merry Xmas everyone!
Today it was time for a looong dog walk and I decided to dig out the French blanket vest by the Brut Archives that I bought during the pandemic but never really wore since I’m not the biggest fan of its curry yellowish bomber jacket collar. A bit of a strange combo together with a vintage RL denim A2 underneath but it somehow worked out fine and I have to admit that the vest is great with the teddy collar from the jacket. Time for me to rework the vest by adding a teddy collar! ;)

I dig the vest. Looking for an adjacent Ecuadorian design, my last eBay attempt at a wool sweater did not leave my confident in the vintage Ecua fit, very big and boxy.

Any advice on this potential purchase. I lowballed got denied for $50.

There is damage mild but noticeable. The fit appears as wide as my champion hoody, which is a relaxed boxy fit, and wider than any of my other jackets.

Its features are nice. A bit long length perhaps to accommodate the hand warmer front pockets. Was looking for other reference photos I saw someone with a Woolrich wool jacket.

Advice such as; is the price point worth it, and or how much would you pay or try to get away with paying? Or any other things I may miss

I have a leather jacket in size 42 fits well yet I struggle to pair with a sweater.

The vintage ad with the lazy kid looking at his bro work appears to be how the fit will look like.

this would be my first vintage jacket.

(Apologies if this isn’t the correct place to ask a question of this sorts)

Weird questions, apologies.

You left or right handed?

Did you hurt your left shoulder?

Had missed this.

It’s at 180 now. I

Not the article I’m really used to looking at the price ranges for (leather jackets), but I have looked at it.

You’d get a decent Filson for 180.

I’d hold off on the purchase and wait to see what @tmitchell59 says.

That's a hunting jacket with a zipper game bag in the back. It's likely plastic lined to prevent ****** game soaking through the lining. Maybe too many pheasants in the game bag and it blew out the bottom.
