Yes, for this pattern I took apart a perfecto style jacket from the 60’s/70’s(unknown maker) that had lots of condition issues. The top block fit me decently, but I pretty drastically altered the body panels through the torso and sleeves to achieve a fit that I liked. I prefer beltless cross zips, so that’s how I’ve done the 3 I’ve made so far. Using a different side panel(for taper), changing pocket config, and adding a belt this one could be pretty easily adapted back to a perfecto style. This is the most complicated pattern I have. There are more than 40 pieces to put it together, and takes me a solid week to make one with a detach collar. I’m actually going to start one this week in a size 44 for my dad. Fingers crossed!D IS FOR DIAPER POCKET
if I may ask, what was the origin of the pattern? Did you adapt it from taking apart similar motorcycle jackets and trial and error with the sizing/fit? Looks pretty complicated given all the pieces.
