lol my wife saw the pic I posed on here so I was trying to her how we post what we wear for the day but all she saw was the fact that I was standing on her favorite rug with my boots on. Then she proceeds to give me a dirty look and walked away. So ….. yeah
Busted!

Really enjoying this snowy Saturday more than my expression may suggest.
Langlitz Columbia for snow-blower duty. At 8" so far and no signs of stopping.
Photo was taken around noon, we have more snow that that now.

That's the kinda snow I like -somewhere other than where I am! I live in the mid-Atlantic region and we get maybe 12" a year on average spread out over the Winter. Even that's too much for me.

Nice Langlitz - it's built to take whatever the Universe can dish out.

It's still crazy to me that this Vanson × Left Field Commando looks and feels equally good over a t-shirt or, as here, over my thickest shaggy-fleece sweater. The pile on this fleece is like an inch thick, but it works just fine. I don't understand Vanson's patterning… just magic. This combo is just as warm as my N1 deck jackets, but with better wind and rain resistance.

@powersci - Super cool jacket! What size did you get? What is your height and chest size for reference. Thinking on buying one or an RJ2 denim. Thanks!
I went with a medium. I was hesitant at first. The measurements they provided were a good match. But I had my doubts from the site stating the model was also wearing a medium. I'm 5'11, 39" chest. But, the measurements were accurate: it's a damn good fit.

I have an RJ-2 jacket as well. That I wear a size large. The medium was too tight. The large fits better and has a little room when zipped. However, I'd never need to layer with it. Today I wore it in our snow storm with 20mph winds with just a button up lightweight flannel under it. I had to unzip it while I was walking to my destination because it was too warm! My only critique of the RJ-2 is that it needs hidden storm cuffs. This pic is from last year.

I remain curious about the 613 sh as well. Having had two different sizes of the 613 s going down from a 46 to a 44 after losing weight over the years. Nowadays regularly wearing a 42 in different models, very tempted to grab a 613 sh in a 42 just to see what happens.
Hard to believe that the size 46 of the 613s was my go-to jacket and in the end even a 44 in that model didn't hug my body like I would like these days.

Really a great jacket. Uber-lovely hide.

The pattern of the 613SH is different enough to justify getting it (or so I told myself when I bought the 618HH).
Same size as the 613 should work well. I can see it being a bit restrictive in the arms (no underarm footballs), but not in the blood flow-stopping sense.

Excuse the ****ty pictures, my main phone just died so I have to use this ****ty backup :p

Had this lovely G-1 style jacket from The Leather Shop/Sears delivered today which I got for a steal on a Swedish auction site.

I've been wanting a brown leather jacket for the colder days, and this one really ticks all the boxes! Super warm and cozy because of the shearling, and the leather is rather decent so I'm a very happy camper!

Looks awesome! I wish I’d seen this one as I’ve been on the search for one ever since I had the Bates version briefly (it was too small for me), but I’m happy you got it!
