Have to agree.... looks good ... What's with all the A-2 interest on here lately????
Thanks @MrProper and @gjchristy. This "A2" deviates from the classic patterns enough to be trim and fitted while still allowing excellent mobility (shoveled the driveway in it last big storm). It's got clean lines and is just easy wearing. The buffalo hide is an interesting leather too, which with wear is showing a tea core look. Thanks again to @Kunja for sending it my way! I've been enjoying it.

Went out the door in the brown bear and lost them both. The feels like temp for mid Feb at 62 in chicago is actually 150 degrees.

I went from wool straight to denim. And based on the snow forecasted for this weekend, it looks like I'm going back to wool. With each passing year I'm becoming more convinced that leather jacket weather in the Midwest is an urban legend.

Filson Mackinaw. Good for me at about 40f which i think is what passes for cold in the pnw. Cut allows room for layering so it can work to 20f but i usually just go for a down fill at that point. One frustrating design feature is how small the buttons are. I’m guessing it is to keep them from getting snagged. Too small to manipulate with gloves.
