What kind of Jeans do you wear with your short leather jacket?

Hey everyone,
I wanted to ask what kind of pants/jeans you wear with your short leather jackets?
It still feels strange to me that my Aero Leather Highwayman 50s cut lets the belt peek out at the front.
I usually wear Iron Heart 555s, The Strike Gold 2105s, or TCB 60s.

High-waisted trousers will help. I don't own any: the shortness of the jackets doesn't bother me.

I wear all my trousers with short jackets. Slim, regular, loose, chinos.
Normal and low rise. I don't have any high rise ones and I don't like them on me either.

I wear IH 888 jeans with a short jacket. But I don't think that high-waisted jeans will change the fit at the waist. This Aero jacket has a short length in the front

Aeros, like any period-cut jacket, will favour trouser cuts worn during the same period. I'm not into expensive denim as it's not my preferred choice much of the time, but I've worn my HWM and other Aeros with USN 40s cut jeans from Soldier of Fortune, Freddies of Pinewood 40s cut jeans, Prison Blues (a 50s cut, though a hair lower in the waist than I prefer), Cathcart denims, and Wrangler 13MWZs. All worked just fine. Had a pair of modern 501s about twenty years ago now and couldn't get on with them at all. Personally I'd Happily ban anyone from marketing trousers using the term "waistband" or "waist measurement" if the top of them is south of the natural waist, let alone by the 4" or so that still seems to be a thing in the mainstream round here.

I agree on higher-waisted, have been favoring them my low/mid-rise Japanese stuff. Have been wearing my word of mouth jeans recently, one man Italian brand.

Your fit looks pretty good already.

But if you want to move your belt up, the obvious Choice is higher rise pants.
