On Saturday watched The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) dir. William Wyler. Heard about for decades but never saw it until now. Amazing direction, grim story, and then to think it came out in the middle of the war. Recommended.

Fine film that. Fonda's performance right up there with his performance in "Grapes of Wrath" and "My Darling Clemintine". Excellent choice.

Key Largo. It's much preferred that Claire Trevor played the cafe singer and not Lauren Bacall as in two previous films. It was also interesting to see Jay Silverheels as John Osceola.
