What's for Dinner?

Last night was peppercorn-crusted roasted pork loin, garlic & parmesan orzo, and creamed spinach.

Chicken tacos, beef tacos, and cheese dip.
The meat cooked in a pressure cooker for time's sake, and for taste.
With habanero sauce for the cheese dip, and some sort of mexican hot sauce for the tacos.

My wife puts a whole steak in ours---and bacon.

Now you tell me. I have half a steak in the freezer I could have used. I did put in bacon, onions and ortega chilis though.

Really? In all the world, the best place to get it is a gas station in TN?
They must have offered the chef part of the gas profits to get him here!

Every time I go to the Antique Mall in Columbus, I stop at the Arby's in the truck stop on the highway, near by.

Sounds pretty godd as it is but you can always add the steak to the leftovers.

Tonight the missus baked a whole chicken, and served it up with smashed red potatoes, broccoli, and a green salad. Dessert, when I rest up from the feast, will be something she created last night, made of pudding and cool whip, angel food cake, sliced strawberries and bananas.

Tonight is just boiling hot. I might just make it a light dinner with some sandwiches. Too hot to do anything that requires a flame.
