WPG's WW II Offocers Russet Low Quarters

I see What Price Glory finally got Officers Russet Low Quarter Shoes in stock. I see they also went up in price on them which doesn't matter to me as long as they're an excellent copy of an original pair of WW II Officers shoes with a rich "Russet" color which is the main factor for me before I order a pair of WPG shoes.
Does anyone here on Fedora Lounge have any comments or opinions on these shoes as far as the shoe looking like the original and especially the color?
