Hi, I usually wear a size 10.5 in sneakers, so I am assuming I would need a 10 for the engineer boots. however if some of you guys wear 10.5 and feel like a size 9.5 is better suited, let me know! Been looking for these for a decent price.

Hi, I have a pair of JL engineer boots. From my experience they tend to run small. Best If you can try them on at a store. But, I typically wear size 9 in most engineer boots, I had to size up to 9.5 in JL. Through many years of wearing engineer boots, I’ve found it’s best not to size down too much. Better to go with your standard size and wear a nice pair of boot socks to prevent heel slip etc. Your feet will be much happier Hope this helps!

I really appreciate this advice! I just got a pair of JL engineers in my brannock size and they only fit with thick socks and the strap set to the second-tightest notch. Was wondering if I should have waited for a pair a half size down but it sounds like I made the right call

Yes, I would say you made the right call. I learned the hard way. My first pair was to small, I had to sell them and size up 1/2.
