WTS : Briselblack Keeper Type 2 in Shinki Horseshide size 8.5

Interest check on these Briselblack engineers. Interestingly, I just don't wear these enough as my crush on retro 501s and would rather send these off to someone who would enjoy them rather than collecting dust.

Size 8.5 (TTS to brannock sizing) I wear 8.5 in sneakers, 8 in vibergs 2030 service boot last, 8 in converse, 8 in red wings.

These are in shinki horsehide hence the crinkly graining on them.
Totally unstructured toe so they will collapse even more.

I've only worn these a few times, asking for $650 USD (retail price was $850) paypal FF + shipping and handling preferably in the US.

I've been curious for a while. What's the logic in saying "Interest check"? Are these for sale or not? Why not just say "WTS" or "For Sale"?

Well, yeah they’re for sale.
I just figured I’d put it out there see if anyone is interested but yes, they’re for sale.

Just offering it to loungers. If they don’t go to anyone it’s probably not a big deal for me.

I didn't intend to make you uncomfortable. I see you changed the title. I was honestly asking because other Loungers also use that "Interest check" title to sell things. Anyway thanks for the response and GLWS.

Interest check means seller doesn’t mind keeping it if it doesn’t gather any interests. The difference with WTS/FS is that in the latter, seller actually wants to sell it. The former gets a higher price because it’s rare and buyer gotta convince seller to sell at a higher price. Usually there’s no price drop, price is firm with interest check.

For example, (not that I have it) I can interest-check an original Peter’s or Trojans from my closet in size 42. Everyone and their mother would want it.
