I really should spend more time searching for those items where the date is unspecified. It's just that i often lack the patience to trawl thought too many page of old tat.
 
Oh yeah, you asked me about the "L" on the Jackson label on the cut down overcoat I got from Ben. Well, I'm now pretty sure that that "L" is a store code. Maybe London. Here're the labels from those two above. Maybe "G" = Glasgow or whatever, and LLRM I'm pretty sure must be somewhere in Wales, though there are a coupla Llan's in the North of Scotland …

Excellent. That's a really useful thing to know. It will be interesting trying to decode those.

I can't believe how cheap those other overcoats were. Some lucky people are getting real bargains at the moment.
