This Resistol 100 has been in storage but I brought it home and wore it this evening to an art opening. It's a little too big for me, but what the heck, I wore it anyway.

I was told recently that Resistols tend to run big. I don't know if that's a reliable generalization or not. Either way, this gem puts my Stetson 100s to shame. What an amazing hat.

Stetson Nostalgia pork pie, quickly becoming on of my favorite hats. I'm very partial to the Caribou color. It looks bluish grey in some photos, and here it looks more like a dark heather grey. I'm also partial to having a pork pie that has room for a modest pompadour.

Mr. E, so is there a modest pompadour under that hat? Inquiring minds and all...

I like the look, but I'd expect the Indiana Jones comments to come rolling in.

I'm a little disheveled after playing in the hay maze at a local pumpkin patch/tractor ride/crowded farm with my niece, and this is moments before my wife got really sick from who-knows-what.

I already get them from time to time. Usually when wearing the most un Indiana Jones like hats.

Great life shots as usual, Lefty!

I need to do better with my photos, I just get lazy and snap something randomly awful, then feel bad about my efforts after the fact.

Man! I hate to follow Lefty and his wonderful outing pictures but here goes. Took the kids to Fort Nisqually, a Hudson Bay Trading company post that was rebuilt (with some original buildings). The guys manning the fort were loving the hat, they told me if they took a black and white picture of me it would look like it was taken in the 40's.
