It could be worthwhile asking ODK if they have other colours ( Maroon) in stock thats not on the website, i know when i worked there we used to have ends of contract sweaters in the warehouse in all different colours.

I have one that an Air Force friend of mine got new for me during a layover in the UK. It was made by Citadel, and it is RAF blue, is a v-neck, and has epaulets. It keeps one snug and comfortable on cold days, and I like the way I look when I wear it. If I only had a Spitfire or Hurricane to go with it!
Only just discovered this wonderful thread.
Another great fan of the woolly pully. I have two: an original 80s RAF issue crewneck one with the pen pocket on the arm; and an Outdoor Knitwear one in RAF blue-grey. Fantastic jumpers, very, very hard-wearing and very good for autumn hunting or fishing trips. Both of mine are getting a lot of use currently in the cold winter weather down here.
What part of the world are you now that you are getting winter weather. Rgds.
The south coast of Oz Stevieboy where it's been pretty nippy of late.
Also woolly-pully related, my in-laws over in Norway wear the Norwegian versions regularly for hunting trips and mucking around their holiday cottages. Most Norwegian men seem to have come into contact with them from their days in the military with their national service.
Hi Stevie,
If you ever make it down this way I'll shout you a pint.
Actually we're off to Norway for a month's holiday in the (northern) autumn which will entail at least one grouse shoot to which I will definitely be wearing one of my woolly pullies!
