Great hats these last few days! Chamuco, you're another one who can't find a way to look bad in a hat. Nice!

Sporting my new (to me) Falcon Park. Just posted pics in the other thread. I've learned that when you can't yet afford a custom, just buy someone else's!

Does not work from Terry size to your size. You would need to rebuild the hat (reblock) and would loose brim.

Today brown hat day.
First the Encarnado Custom

And then this Stetson 3xB

Or make your own ;)
You seem so sure I have to take your word as the truth !!!

Maybe I can shrink my head a bit !!! :) (-;

Okay, let's start with commenting on all the hats from yesterday, beginning with The Ote...

el_ote - Welcome to the 'Lounge! Nice Saxon, you wear it very well. That is a very popular hat around here.

ofcoursemyhorse - Very interesting [and cool] :thumb: bowler. I like the checkered fabric!!

Joao - Your sliver Stagecoaches and black Stetsons are sublime!!

Cariduro24 - Welcome to the finest hat 'Lounge on the Web. The breezy Adam Milan is a nice entry, as well as your Italian Tesi.

Perry - Lookin' mighty fine, sir. Always good to see your hats. Very nice OR!!

S4C - Impressive Stratoliner and a killer brim! Great color.

Slacker - Looks like that Campdraft is going to hold up very well in the rain. Nice! Hopefully, your forecasts will hold off for the 4th festivities. :)

GregNYC - Greg, you are one cool dude. Your cap collection is super impressive!!! :yo: The patterns on those caps are just incredible.

casechopper - Nice cap, Sam. Full cut and mellow; reminds me of a pipe tobacco I used to smoke. Cool denim, too!

Frunobulax - Sharp straw! Looks lightweight and cool. I foresee palm trees in your future!!

Bob Roberts - Thanks for sharing; I like the vents in the crown. Nicely done.

Trevi007 - Awesome hat, 007. You look good with a wide brim. I like the blue/red striped ribbon. Will you be wearing that hat on the 4th?

Ingineer - Another "breezy" Panama!! Great crown!

foxtrot1213 - COOOOOOOOL. That's it. That's the look. Sign him up for the movies!! Great pic, foxtrot, nice combo hat/jacket/denim/boots!! Great backdrop, but I'm curious, is that flex conduit?

moehawk - Those glasses make a statement, really nice!! Does that hat have a leather or a fabric sweatband? My Stetson lightweight was glued to my hat while I was at the beach last week. It made me nervous, but it stayed on. The wind was incredibly strong, even bending some umbrellas!

Mantis - Cool pic. That would make a great addition to the "dark side / shadow" thread.

g.durand - Beautiful Borso, Michael. You maintain your collection very well. Nice.

Thanks A'n'A , YOU ARE RIGHT I BE WEARING THIS FOR THE 4TH OF JULY ....THAT'S WHY I GOT IT OUT OF THE CLOSET... LOL

It's a size 7 1/4. I reblocked this one with a modified 6 1/2 inches tall block and gave it a Center Dent crease. I also did my own ribbon work on the hat. Sorry Joao. It's a Keeper! :D

Catching up from yesterday, running around town on my day off in my Dobbs straw

Image2.jpg

Then out walking after dinner my buddy Glenn snapped this photo at Dayton's "selfie wall" on the side of my local hat shop, Brim on Fifth, with the D'Aquino Mk II.

Image.jpg

Stopped in a talked hats with the nice lady that owns the place - and of course Guinness the dog!

Then on down to a local vintage shop, where I found my new summer hat!

Image3.jpg

Haven't been out of the house today, though, so no Independence Day hat - yet (it'll probably be this one!)

Nice ones everyday everybody!

Javadave that falcon park was a great find! I love Parker 's work. Looks perfect.

T jones, nice work and beUtifully worn!

Starting my morning with this dirt colored resistol beaver twenty, kitten finish with cavanaugh edge, and my Taylor 310 that plays me better than I play it [emoji39] but it has been a trusty friend to me over the years.

Nice hat, indeed. I understand your sentiment about your Taylor dread. Every time I pick up my '87 Santa Cruz Tony Rice Model D, I feel so unworthy. BITD, when I was playing in bands and attending bluegrass festivals we had lots of quality time together, but these days it sits more than I'd like to admit.
