Happy Saturday.

Going with one of my favorites. Circa 1920s Cohn-Asher, ASCO Hats derby. Woke up with a Grateful Dead tune (It Must've Been the Roses) in my head. So I am also wearing the circa 1980s denim jacket that was painted by my dad.

A few minutes after these photos were taken, the tie dye in the photo (along with my chest) got absolutely shredded by one of our cats as I caught him after he escaped from the house.

I don't like bleeding. And I'm going to miss that shirt. Oh, well.

I hope that each of you do not get shredded by a cat today.

Great derby Matt. That is one of my favs as well. Sorry to hear about the shirt. Perhaps with the rips and snags, the tie dye looks more "authentic" ;)
Cats......gotta love 'em![emoji14]

Matt, that was the song my wife and I danced to at our wedding. We requested it from the DJ as our first dance song, and he put on what seemed like a 15 minute live version of the song, leaving us out there stumbling about by ourselves, feeling self-conscious as all get out. Thanks for the ear worm. Sorry about the tie-dye.

I actually have a couple of shows I attended, which is pretty cool.

"There's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert."

Now that is awesome
That's so cool that that was the tune for your first married dance, Jim. I am glad that I could bring back that happy memory. That the dj picked a long, stretched out version is hilarious. But i sympathize.

Our dance was "It had to be you." While I was mostly focused on my new beautiful bride, I am no dancer and I distinctly remember at some points feeling like someone had taped a sign saying "COLLASAL DORK" onto the back of my tux.

Ant... Both of those renditions are marvelous. In my mind, that Reckoning rendition is a wonderful arrangement and beautifully represents Garcia's talent for teasing out the subtleties of a song. Yeah. There is nothing like a Grateful Dead concert. Ahhh... The nostalgia...
