As a former thirty-something co-worker once commented during a discussion about retirement, "Oh, I'm old enough, I'm just not wealthy enough." :D
Ha! Yeah, I can definitely relate to that! Except that I'm 60+ something and I'm still nowhere close to wealthy! That's why I'll have to continue working part time to supplement my retirement income. So, semi retired, I guess.

Happy Saturday.

Going with one of my favorites. Circa 1920s Cohn-Asher, ASCO Hats derby. Woke up with a Grateful Dead tune (It Must've Been the Roses) in my head. So I am also wearing the circa 1980s denim jacket that was painted by my dad.

A few minutes after these photos were taken, the tie dye in the photo (along with my chest) got absolutely shredded by one of our cats as I caught him after he escaped from the house.

I don't like bleeding. And I'm going to miss that shirt. Oh, well.

I hope that each of you do not get shredded by a cat today.

Konadog, your photos always look like something out of a magazine. I'm envious - mine always look like they came out of the back pages of the Free Press.
Esther - love the second photo with the necklace. Classy.
Matt, that was the song my wife and I danced to at our wedding. We requested it from the DJ as our first dance song, and he put on what seemed like a 15 minute live version of the song, leaving us out there stumbling about by ourselves, feeling self-conscious as all get out. Thanks for the ear worm. Sorry about the tie-dye.
