Lovely! Du bist der schwarze Hut meister, mein Freund! <---- been years since my last German class; please forgive the likely butchering
Vielen Dank!

Such exquisite hats you post, Steve. Really lovely.
Thanks! Great hats on your side too!

Hi Steve, I've made two new homburgs, high crowned, trying to make something like the original homburg like "Bertie" wore. Will have to post some pictures soon.
Great hat again, and I will call on you if someone owes me and doesn't pay, you look really imposing! ;-)
Cristina, Look forward to seeing the Homburgs. Also fantastic hats! LOL! I am far from imposing. Just need to smile a bit. :) Thanks!

Classic!!!

When indecision strikes, I say "leave it to beaver." Here, the early golden longhair variety.

giving this Stetson New York a test run with a crease that is out of my comfort zone
but like I tell all my students... the best way to not move forward is not stepping out of your comfort zone

Ciao Antonio I like your new Stetson modern model since the day you gave announce you will buy it
I wish to have some more pictures, as still life, to see the right color and the shape.
On your first road show I'm unable to understand some details of the New York LE model
So if you have time please then hear my wishes. Thanks

Looks great, Ant. As always... Love the matches (coolest darn idea).

A derby might help you move forward, too. ;)

Morning spent in the extreme periphery to seek some products for the storage of paintings.
In the end I lost the whole morning

Today only in the hottest hours, few and little hot, I took a walk with this Panizza
11gk4cm.jpg

It is the Italian interpretation of Australian hat, in fact, the model is called Kangaroo
5d47kw.jpg

Felt is very nice and soft, the inside unlined.
The proportions tend to be inspired by "outback" hats

This Panizza is very comfortable and the toll to Australian models, here in vogue twenty years ago or more

Have a nice Friday!
Thanks a lot for the likes on the Barbisio from the 70'
That looks great. I really dig the raw edge.

With my "hat for ship and shore" from a pattern on Ruby Carnahan's book "How to make hats", a very simple hat to sew and packs flat. Not very comfy to wear because every time I looked down today the hat fell off of my head, a bobby pin is required I suspect! (more info, and pattern on this link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/63536356@N00/albums/72157603928151597)
