Oh, I agree. But it's a bit of a paradox that what we call a "fedora" today was originally a hat that was fashionable for women to wear.
I'm working on her daily. She is what I call "decision challenged", so it will be a long process just to decide on her first bespoke hat. But, you are my greatest asset and ammunition toward her making a choice Esther!Well, she has a point.
The biggest issue with most women's hats is that the brims are too floppy.
I don't see the appeal either.
Swoop yes, floppy no.
Then again, to each their own.
Here's hoping one day she'll find it

These are some great shots Ryan, what a treasure for you.The kids were out of school yesterday so a couple of us dad's took the kids camping, fishing, and hiking in the mountains.

Totally agree. I don't mind a floppy straw sun hat occasionally, but I really don't see the appeal of those ubiquitous floppy-brimmed women's fedoras. They just stink of overpriced inferior quality to me. Plus they're annoying, they invariably flop over my eyes so I can't see.Well, she has a point.

Hello from the west of Venetian!
Looks like a fun day and a great way to end it with a cold PBR!Went up and down a few steep hills trying to locate our property line for an upcoming dispute with our neighbor (The National Forest Service). The new to me Stratton "Lawman" started out in good shape on this record high 75-deg. day.
At one point we asked my wife's late grandfather to show us where he had marked the line. It appeared that he obliged.
It's kinda bad when your landmark trees die and fall over. At this point the "Lawman" was doing a great job ventilating my hot head.
My wife was sort of regretting her choice of fur felt.
By the end of our mapping the eastern boundary we were ready for a beer. Yes ... that is a sweat trail running down the front of the "Lawman".
