it got up to about 80 yesterday somewhere slightly south of here, which is a record for late May, and today we woke up to an unforcasted third day of blue skys, not even a mist over dublin bay for the sun to burn away, presumably the atlantic or the north sea farted overnight, as they do, looking more moody or blue than I feel in a blue borsalino.

I really like the blue. A nice blue hat is on my list as I think it really complements a gray beard. Looks sharp with the salt and pepper goatee.

Boy, oh boy, Greg. That's a nice hat. I love my 150th Anniversary Stetsonian, but I year for a vintage like that. Until then, I shall have to live vicariously through my FL brethren.

Someday...

I wore my new Gannon today. This picture is from yesterday, but it's the same hat. I adjusted the saturation and contrast, but the lens flare is real. That's how majestic this hat is.

That's a great hat!

Well, it's Fawcett Friday and going to be close to 100F - only one hat will work.

Cheers! David

Ooooh! Aaaah!

Sunny Friday. Welcome to the long weekend (for those in the US). Casualed it up a bit today wearing jeans, but this Adam Executive Pacesetter will keep me shaded and (hopefully) add some dash.

Wow. Oddly, this picture creeps me out. Now I know how my wife feels about clowns. In another time of my life I worked on generators, and this would have been great then. I'm going to have to Google this one. Interesting!

Thank you, Jim.

Or "yearn" even. You're welcome.

OK, you owe me a new keyboard. I just spit coffee all over this one.

BTW, does this have any context? Is this from a multi-panel cartoon?

Given that it was once the symbol for power companies, it would be appropriate in light of their bills...

I looked it up, and it is from a knife safety add. My guess is that we shouldn't stick knives in electrical outlets. Who'd a thunk it?

A three hat day. Changed up for an office meeting. Kept the shirt, but grabbed the new-to-me Saville Row lightweight, silk summer jacket and the 50's tan colored Royal Stetson. Quite the potpourri of styles, lol, but it's cool; even in the 75 degree sun.

.

Ooooh -- Saville Row! I own only one jacket from that district -- wore it on my wedding =)

You look great!
