Great crease on that Sterkowski Karl. How is the felt? It looks like it has a nice finish.

Good Monday morning! Another gorgeous day in Funkytown. Sunny and they're calling for mid-70s most of the week.

Today, I present for your consideration as I begin to tackle the week, the Dalton Dalt-o-liner.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Good to see the Dalt-o-liner Jim. We are blessed with the same felt weather this week.

What a beautiful finish on this piece. Very nice Harv!

Lots of shade from that brim. You look very comfortable, good for you!

Another rainy OR day.

Nice looking OR.

Doing a little fly fishing today.

Good luck! Nice wide brim to keep the sun out of your eyes.

Another nice cool day, though I may be chasing Bob and changing to a rain hat later. For now this Dobbs,

Seems like the rain hat could be a regular fixture later in the week.

Have a good Monday,

I do love the shape of that straw. I need a more formal straw like this one.

I hate to burst your bubble Red, but this one is fur felt. I think you are recalling my Biltmore milan homburgs.

Nice respite from 90+ temps with a marine flow coming our way. Good day for a light weight felt. Today the Stetson Royale Deluxe gets the nod. No time for a new shot, archives. View attachment 77721 View attachment 77722
Nice looking Royal Deluxe. Glad to hear you are getting a break from the heat, but don't let that marine air push it this way.

Thanks,
Michael

All of you look great! I spoke to a gent from Montecristi yesterday who had been on vacation in Miami. He confirmed that things are still bad there, and not safe for visitors. It's a shame they can't get basic services for people. There are weavers of their famous paja toquilla/straw hats with inventory they can't get to market, and no tourists around to buy...

Good morning, ALL, and Happy National Pudding Day to everyone celebrating here in the USA, or wherever you'd like to celebrate such an important day...

For National Pudding Day, a CHOCOLATE Borsalino (since my cocoa-brown colored Panama Bob straw is at our cabin, and I am not).
Nice Charlie. But damn, now I'm hungry and wondering if a chocolate Borsalino is some sort fancy European comestible?

The Akubra Balmoral to shade me while doing some bike maintenance before my ride. I had to change my wheel out as the last one cracked. Trek was great and replaced it under warranty without any questions.

Nice hat and bike. Is that a carbon fiber frame? Hmm, wonder how carbon fiber would work for a hat? Or nanotubes. Ha ha.

It is carbon fiber, and it is very light and stiff, just like the Akubra hemp. Great bike. I can't afford the higher end frame, but this one doesn't hold me back at all. It is a great balance as I added higher components and wheels. I'm off to ride and test this new wheel out.
