Mrs. Red and I are heading to the Oregon coast again, this time for a weekend with the in-laws at a resort. My choice to handle the wind will be my stingy Cavanagh Thirty. Not much brim to catch a gust an go flying. For today, on campus, the modern Sage Stratoliner. Love this hat from Moon. No time for current images, these are from the archives.

Since it's supposed to heat up much earlier this morning I wasn't even going to bother with felt. But then the allure of the new OR proved too strong, so I'm sitting here in that for now.

Last night, took the pup to the old ball orchard for Bark in the Park, where they had three sections dedicated for dogs and their owners. Warm night under the PB Milan.

Contacted Bob yesterday. He wanted me to share some tunage with y'all.

Bob's wearing his brown Schoble Hommie today.

SO nice, Daniele! The perfect hat. They're ALL perfect!!

How was the Araki exhibition?
Charles thanks!
Araki's show is very interesting. There are seventy photographs very well chosen between the immense production of the Japanese photographer.
There is a magnificent set of flowers, erotic portraits (not all) of women, some precious and the advertising campaign made for Bisazza in 2009.
An Araki exhibition to be visited for the balance in the choice of subjects, the elegance in the layout and the magnificent location of the "Bisazza Foundation"
Nabuyoshi Araki is one of the photographer beloved from "the other half of sky" and present in our private collections of books

When the Red Cross issues an statement asking for NO MORE VOLUNTEERS in Mexico City.

When you see the Cajun Navy, Texas style, helping each other after the hurricane.

That's when you know that North Americans Rock !!!

<smile> thank you... and happy to hear that you escaped damage in the earthquake. I have a good astronomy friend in Mexico City. His description of the tremors and shaking in his home was frightening.
It was very hard indeed...but he is safe so he has a story to tell to the grandkids !!
