Nice one, Don. I don't recall seeing a blue Resistol homburg.
Thanks Randy. It's a lovely blue that truly stands out.

Spectacular, Steve. Wonderful colour and the way the felt creases oozes quality.Echter Velour - Soleil, possibly later 1920s early 1930s. The paper label is missing and no company mark. This is the only Velour that I have that is actually marked "Soleil". The Velour is very light in weight so a Super Zephyr. I think it has a great overall look. I haven't worn this Velour in a few years. I found it back in 2017.
Not a dud in there, but it’s the Homburgs for me.Sunday is here again and so are the hats of the week.

Both of those are stunning, and the ribbon/felt color pairing on the Hornskov is magnificent.Today. Etsuko in a Hornskov View attachment 589360
I thought the Schott might go alright with a Homburg.

Cool old dude.Exclusive Hats of Chicago. Once owned, I'm sure, by a notorious gangster.
Or a killer bluesman.
Or maybe, some guy named Bob from Gary.

Your write-up reminds me how everyone wants to be somebody in their past life. I was Bob from Gary in my past life.
