They do put on a good show, but to me, it isn't the same without Mark Farner. In fact, having seen GFR with Mark and without him, as well as Farner on his own, I'd drive past a GFR show if Mark was playing down the street.

In one of his last interviews Robbie Robertson said when Levon quit the band for the last time it was because he thought he should share more in the songwriter credits & money with Robbie. He went on to say he & Levon settled their differences before Levon passed. Now Robbie has passed also.

Robbie ended the band. Levon didn't quit. Very clear from many interviews Levon didn't want the band to end.
