What to do with the snap brim on my Fedora

That's the beauty of a snap brim. When you want to set the hat down, perhaps on a countertop, just snap the brim up. Before putting the hat back on, just snap it back down. When storing the hat in your box, snap it up if it's hitting the box. I keep all my hats (3) on a coat/hat...

    Two New Hats Today!

The next best thing to a hat steamer would be something that concentrates the steam from boiling water such as a tea pot; preferably one that does not whistle. :D At the risk of spamming you guys: I went on a fishing trip a couple weeks ago to Montana and brought my Akubra Angler with...

    Akubra Adventurer Alliance

Due to it's soft quality I always recommend the Sydney for long ovals. It's so soft it rarely needs adjusting. ;)

Casual Fedora: from T-Shirt to a Shirt & Tie

I always tell people with a stingy brimmed fedora you could be casual (brim up all around) or business-like (snapped down in front). Depends on your mood or the setting or maybe the weather.

    Maybe stupid question (+intro)

Good luck in your search. It's kind of like an adventure... "Rotten03 and the quest for the well fitting hat." Darn it, where's that "Indy" font? lol

    3:10 to yuma?

I kinda felt the same about the characters. Other than that it was pretty good. Here's a little nugget. The hat Russell wears while under a "disguise" is a gray Akubra Snowy River. They tamed the brim and gave it a little character.

Hats and Privacy Vs Public Security

B.O.T. (sorry) If you've ever seen an old western you've probably seen people use the brim to their advantage, or as intimidation. (Someone yells from across the room. His hat slowly raises as he peers from behind the brim to confront the interloper.) Great stuff.
