Have you ever tried real barefoot shoes? Vivobarefoot makes some nice boots which I wear. I will never go back to wearing regular shoes or boots again. Never.

I haven't. I have a pair of Arrow moccasins that are extremely minimalist as well as the Russel's that are a bit less minimal. Most days due to work and scooter commuting I need some form of boot though with a thicker sole and some decent upper protection which rules out anything too minimal. Thanks for the recommendation though!
Pretty boring actually, it's the standard Slim Trucker made by Levi's. It's missing the red tab as it's an irregular.

Superb Spearhead Militaria wool A-1 jacket picked up from CBI in the classifieds section. I’m trying to determine if this fits me or if it’s just wishful thinking. I’m thinking the sleeves are just a smidge too short; which is fine, ‘cause I’m sure the jacket will fit the kid just fine.

I also have a Filson/Levi jacket. A shame this one was discontinued only after a short run, particularly before I could snap up one in black.

This is a 50s Windward Steerhide. Heavy, loud leather. love this jacket, took some weight loss to get it on.

Hi Tmitchell59, I've had it for a while and it's one of my favorite jackets.
bluesforchalla, I think that jacket fits you fine. The sleeves look fine to me. The body of the jacket looks a bit short in the first photo but that might be due to your jeans being a bit lower rise. With a higher rise pair of jeans it would look great. If that jacket had been a couple inches wider in the chest I would have bought it myself.

@bluesforchallah - dunno man. I used to hate jackets that were too short, but after watching lots of old movies and TV, I've seen some really cool looks with the shorter cuts. Some will undoubtedly say flip it, etc. but I just got a slightly small jacket from @CBI as well, and I'm keeping it. Perfect fit? Many would likely say no, but I wore it out last night for Cinco De Mayo and the kids loved it. So, **ck it - if you dig it, keep it. I'm for the do what you feel good in mode. There is no right or wrong here...only what you enjoy.
