The weather is very fine in the Bay Area today. The high clouds are burning off and it promises to be a sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 70s. Here is my Optimo fedora in Mink. I like the ribbon because it is neither too wide or too thin.

Fine looking lidLove the collection of fine lids this Sunday morning. Everyone's looking great. Wearing my latest conversion this morning. Finally got it done. Something of an OR conversion with a Cattleman crease finished off with a 3 ply thin ribbon with a campaign style bow. I have more pics in the conversion corral. I have to say that the pictures come no where near close to doing this hat justice. The camera moved a little so the picture of me looks a little blurry.

Had to go out for more eclipse supplies the wife forgot to put on the list. Nice and hot, clear skies in the path of tomorrows apocalypse. Cappas Bogart Panama with a purple pug was the grab.

Took a last minute road trip south with the kiddos to Kentucky to view the eclipse tomorrow with family. Left the house with a comfortable high 60's wearing my Stetson Chatham. When we arrived in Kentucky it was hot and humid. Amazon forest humid. Lucky for me I always pack a few hats and ended up wearing my prized Dobbs Milan Rosebud. Now much more bearable.
