Thanks. Mine is sort of medium gray - lighter than my Fed IV Carbon Gray but darker than Moonstone. Yours does appear to be lighter than mine. What do you think? How would describe the grayness of your HS?
Yes, mine does look lighter. I would put it more in the tan/beige colorway than gray. But there is some element of grayness in the background of the color.

Fritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim Western Germany "Zephyr Seal Velour" probably mid 1950s. This one was made for the American market by Hückel Weilheim Hutfabrik so they had to use Fritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim because of probable trademark issues with Tonak (Czechoslovakia).

That is a gorgeous hat Steve, It's hard to make a black hat look that good but that ribbon does if for sure.

I'm late to the party today, too busy for a retired man. Finally time to relax, so a rerun, I love my new CD so much I'm wearing it again.

You guys with the Akubra's are tempting me. I only have a beatup CEO that I wear for a rain hat. May be time to expand my horizons.

I strum around on a guitar some. Always been fascinated by the mandolin. Like drums, magic to me.
I started on guitar when I was 10, learned all my chords, open and barred, even some ninths, diminished, and augmenteds.I was attending some bluegrass festivals, in the early 80s, and most of the fun started at midnight. There was an abundance of guitar pickers, so I took up mandolin. No matter how crappy of a mandolin picker, you were welcome around campfires.

Hey all!
I recently made moe-riginal No. 8, a Lords' Hat in black Winchester rabbit. I decided to call it Lord Hemingway in honor of our dear departed perma-banned Bob.
Well, today I finished his little brother Earl.

Earl has a 5 1/2" open crown and a 2 3/8" brim. 125g. Ribbon is dyed midnight blue, shown compared to the black ribbon on big bro. Flanged on the same flange, but the 1/4" shorter brim gives a different effect.
My last Winchester body.:( oh well...
Have a great day!
