It's great to see how everyday people put their outfits together. A great bunch of characters that's for sure.

Now I know the whole subject of "that show" is touchy, but you have to admit this is really cool from at least a reenactor/ADD standpoint (from which most of us here suffer).

Now first of all this isn't me, nor do I even know anything about this family or this sale, but a friend sent me this link and I had to share it with the lounge folks that may be within driving distance. All don't stop scrolling down the page it only gets better...
I searched and didn't find anything, but has anyone ever bought a pair of the Overlord trousers from this outfit? They have the brace buttons too!

I bought these and wore them to the office a few times before I decided they were a too big. I ordered myself a size 7 now and they are perfect, but these 8s are a little too used to send back so here they are. The Indy boots run about a half to a full size big. I normally wear an 8 dress shoe...
Just happen to run across the company that makes new metal canteens. Definitely more retro than an Ozarka bottle. I'm seriously considering a double walled version in khaki.

I put it here because it's a WWII style repro. Feel free to relocate this thread bartenders.
Is there are way that I being in Texas can buy something from these guys? The stuff says made in America for cryin' out loud. I can't see a way on their site and I didn't see anything in searching the Lounge.
In Bruce Willis' new movie he looks to be wearing a vintage 30's-40's leather jacket. I have a few of these and it looks pretty authentic. Not sure if the movie is going to be any good though.
I just heard this line in "It's a Big Country" (1951) and I thought it would be fun to start a thread of movie quotes about hats.
Newspaper Editor tells a reporter:
"Look official, wear a hat."
I recently found a two piece, single breasted shawl collar tux with a 49-62 union tag that looks like it's never been worn, and it fits almost perfectly. I checked the formal wear primer thread but couldn't seem to find the info I need, but what would the perfect shirt/tie/shoe for this tux? [huh]
I have an old black biker jacket a girlfriend bought me back in '92 (during my Ramones phase;) ). It's a good quality jacket and has broken in nicely over the years, and I keep it moisturized with Pecards. My question is whenever I see old biker jackets from the 50s and 60s they look a lot...
Well I've just about given up so it's time to ask the knowledgeable and friendly folks here at the lounge. I'm trying to find more of these buttons, or at least figure out what they are called. I have two jackets from the late 30's that use buttons like these and a couple are missing. I've...
The prices coming down on the Akubra because of the AU exchange rate got me thinking...are there any other good deals for us in North America to be had overseas because of this situation?
Hi gents, where is the best place to get a 19/20" Talon Zipper (with brown tape)? I looked on that auction site and people are selling them in lots, and I don't need a lot (they also don't look like they are brass jacket zippers either). I have a 30's leather civi jacket that the tape ripped on...
I didn't see a thread for this movie. So does anyone know anything about it? Takes place pre and during early WWII. What do our Australian FL members think about it? So many questions.

1947 Tama by Nissan. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat!
After the war, oil was scarce but electricity was plentiful, so for a period the government promoted the manufacture of electric vehicles. With this encouragement, the "Tama" was introduced. In performance tests conducted by the...
