New Stetson label - to remove or not remove?
If it's bothering you, you may as well unpick it. All it should take is a seam ripper, or some pocket knife scissors. I guess you could then tuck it into the sweatband so at least it's still with the hat. Or perhaps if you were feeling arty, you could sew it into the lining, which would be a... -

Money Clip question
I decided today that I wanted a money clip, but didn't want one badly enough to buy one. So I made one out of an old teaspoon. Hammer it flat, bend the handle around a broom shaft, and you're all done. I found it quite fun, and it works a charm! Tommy- Elgin1924

Trimming a brim
I just trimmed the brim on an cheap wool cattleman I had lying around from 3 1/2 inches to 2 3/4 / 3 inches just before. In my case I had a hat I wanted the brim to replicate, so I popped one on top of the other and traces around the one to be copied in chalk. I used meat scissors to cut... -

Trench Coat - the 'Ultimate' Thread!
It looks to have a nice cut (on the model, at least), with nice modern button spacing. It says it's a cotton/polyester blend, which shouldn't be a problem unless you specificly want a 100% cotton coat. I've never really looked on the bay for trenchcoats, so I can't offer too much advice on that. I'd say visit a few thrift stores, you never know what people want to throw out. I found a few nice coats for $2 a piece once!- Elgin1924
