    G-1 Needs New Collar

    I've got a G-1 jacket from flightjacket.com that's missing its original mouton collar. Is there anywhere I can buy a new collar and attach it myself, or (maybe preferable) anywhere I can send the jacket to have one attached? Thanks!

    I really like almost everything about this jacket, but I couldn't find any other information about it. The Lost Worlds site tells me it was in production for the Army Air Corps in the early '30s. Is this an actual historical jacket, and does anyone else make a reproduction/similar item?

    Inexpertly Treated Adventurebilt, 7 1/8

    I say inexpertly because sometimes my 'do-it-yourself' instinct goes too far. The brim on this rabbit Adventurebilt has been trimmed down to 2" for that stingy-brim/high crown look. It's not a perfect job, but for my first try I'm rather proud of it. See the photo for a good look at the brim...
