I know there are a few places to get Akubra's braided hat bands, but is there some place that sells the ribbons from Akubra? -
Rand's Custom Hats
I think I've read some things about them here but couldnt find it in a search, anyway does anyone have any hats from Rands? so far there one of the only custom hatters that send out a catalog that I know of. They mostly deal with cowboy and western hats. -
modern military boots
Anyone ever use modern or vintage military boots for hunting or any outdoor activity? I would like to know how they hold up in all types of weather/conditions/and terrain. dirty panama hats
Besides me, does anyone like the look of a well-worn dirty panama hat? I think that they look pretty cool. The first time I really saw this look in a movie- it was Jurassic Park. Sam Neill wore his and the guy in the beginning did too. If anyone has a "dirty" panama hat, post them here, thankyou. -

NEW HAT
Today my new hat arrived. I had this hat custom made by Baron Hats. It is a replica of the hat worn by Sam Neill in Jurassic Park 1. The original was also made by this company. Look Forward to wearing it, but I am waiting to open it until Christmas. Hope i love it. Ill post pics eventually.
