Baseball Caps (in moderation)?
A personal opinion. A beret should never be worn by the U. S. Military. They are ugly and demeaning. Have you seen these floppy things? Hanging down on one side touch the ears? They only reason they are wearing the beret is because of the United Nations insistence and our own weak leadership... -
The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard
I live in the same area as Jamespowers and I've gotten a couple of Indy comments. Frankly they don't really bother me as long as they are not nasty. Here is my guide for pocket watch wear. BTW I have 5 of them. I like wearing a vest either with a suit or casually, so I put one in the left pocket with an appropriate chain. With a two piece suit, or just a nice shirt and pants, it hangs from a belt clip chain and is in one of the front...- DC3

Class rings, onetime popular mementos, losing popularity
I graduated from a small private school that did not offer a ring then went to college, but did not carry the credits to avoid being "called" for service. Instead I went into the Air Force, and bought a nice ring which, some forty years later, I still wear.- DC3

I know it is obvious, but my hat was good and warm today
Here in the San Francisco East Bay, we have two seasons. "Its going to be hot later" and "It might rain again". I prefer what passes for winter but except for the odd early storm it doesn't really kick in until Halloween. Then the outer wear gets worn. -

Who are we to say what color is a no no. I have no interest in striped hats or a bright red one...but that's just me. Right now I'm listening to a community radio station here in the SF Bay area. KCEA 89.1. Playing big band music all the time. Low power, but is very receivable. -
Vintage watch repair
It all started when I wore three piece suits and French cuff shirts. Most wrist watches are too bulky for cuffed shirts and I think pocket watches and their chains have more style. I still wear three piece suits and cuffed shirts from time to time but more often I wear western or motorcycle...- DC3
