1980's Avirex leather backpack

I bought this bag from my local craigslist. I don't know too much about it and I haven't been able to find a ton of info. I know the avirex jackets are popular around these parts and you guys are extremely knowledgeable about them. I am hoping to get a little more info about the backpack.
