hello all,
recently my dad passed and all the family nonsense is occurring... that said, one thing he wanted me to have is the family hunting jacket. i have not received it yet but i am waiting patiently. unfortunately i don't have a picture but i have worn it more than once out in the sticks.
what i do know is it was bought in Pennsylvania in about 1920. its very heavy mustard/khaki waxed canvas with brown corduroy collar and looks vaguely similar to a world war two paratrooper jacket in layout of the pockets and the like.
any info or ideas as to what the style is called or who made such things appreciated.

I don't have them myself but you should make a google search for 1920s and 30s LL Bean and Abercrombie and Fitch catalogs. Back then they made cool outdoor stuff.
