VS family part I - light-colored felts
These shots were taken in the perfect lighting conditions for the pupose; the sky was overcast with only a thin cloud layer and some tiny blue streaks (what's sometimes referred to as brightly overcast). No shadows (for all practical purposes), yet maximum luminosity and not too cool-tempered.
If you have only half as much fun studying these pics as I had making them, then ... uh, I've had twice as much fun as you did.

Top view and bottom view of VS Black Cherry under same light (brightly overcast), resulting in a different-looking felt color both in person and on film. The color rendition is pretty accurate.
