Cooper vs US Authentic

How does a 42R cooper A2 compare to a USAuthentic 42R A2? I have the Cooper now, but I need a little more room across the back. I have other 42R jackets (not A2) that fit fine. The USAuthentic looks like a good buy, but I am a little worried about sizing.

US A jackets are sized long in the sleeves and body even in a Regular size by about an inch or two. Cooper Regular sizes are not as long. You would have to order a 42L Cooper to fit the same as a US A 42R. You will probably have to order a custom jacket from US A and have the sleeves and jacket length shortened to get the regular fit you desire. That will add to the price of the jacket. An alternative would be to buy from Gibson & Barnes. They have outstanding quality and workmanship and an oversized fit that might be right for you. Good luck.
